Chubby cat takes down stair gate when she attempts to jump over it [Video]

A determined cat caused a stair gate to come crashing to the ground when she attempted to jump over it in hilarious footage.

As ten-year-old Prudence attempts to make the leap, she stumbles and clings on to the top of the gate which then swings forward on impact.

The gate then slips out of its position in the doorway and crashes to the ground on top of the beautiful cat.
